Why I will always choose fitness

I have always had an interest in health and fitness. Back in August of 2013, I was unexpectedly rushed into hospital with a severe headache and suspected meningitis and, to cut a long story short, I nearly lost my life. Had it not been for my family and the amazing NHS I would not be here today. I was induced into a coma and when they woke me up (14 days later) I had no use of my legs and very little strength. I spent a further 2 weeks in ICU not knowing what the future held. I was eventually moved onto another ward, where (with the help of my family) I managed to use a wheelchair, and it wasn't long before I was receiving Physiotherapy. To this day, I maintain that learning to walk again is the toughest thing I have ever had to do, but the determination, competitiveness, and desire to return to life as it was, drove me to success. It was this journey with the Physio's and fitness coaches, that inspired me to become a personal trainer. I wanted to help and impact peoples lives in a positive way, through fitness and health. So I spent the large part of a year commuting to London to study and start my fitness education. When I received my exam results I was so happy, but it is a bit like passing your driving test - you really learn how to become a Personal trainer/coach after the studying and exams, when you are actually putting it into practice.Over the years I have added to my initial education with TRX (suspension training), kettlebells, advanced pad-work and boxing coaching, modified olympic lifting, nutrition coaching and more! This has brought me to where I am now, where I have had the pleasure in working with some amazing people who I have helped reach goals, but importantly they have also helped me become the Coach I am today.

*1:1 Personal coaching (all inclusive)

*1:1 Online coaching.  (like  personal coaching but you get won't get me with you, driving you through your training sessions and you are responsible for your own success)

* Nutrition Recipe packs: Protein, Low carb or Vegetarian  recipe packs based on healthy balanced and extremely tasty food.

 My goal is to make you Fitter, Stronger, healthier, Happier and of course to get you to your goal a soon as I can with the tried and tested tools I have for success. 

Happiness for me is to see your success and for you to share it with others. 

AJ has been my Coach for around 2 years now and he comes highly recommended, not just because he knows his profession exceptionally well but because he understands the journey most of us are on to improve our physical wellbeing.

My weekly sessions were predominantly based around my tennis conditioning but the workouts always focused to improve any areas I showed a weakness in.

Sessions never felt the same! and that was why I returned week after week. Not only do I return because I can see the improvements in my fitness, AJ inspires me in his own training, he practices what he preaches.

AJ has taught me that if you work hard you will get the results and I can categorically say that when I look at my before and after pictures, AJ has played a major part in me looking so great!

I have trained with AJ for over a year on a weekly basis. The transformation in my fitness levels was something I had never achieved before, both cardio and physique benefitted (dropping two clothes size) Having the focus and drive AJ gives was the major factor in me achieving my goals and I recommend him without hesitation. Due to a change in my job I cannot currently see him on a weekly basis, however he still keeps in touch and offers training advice. His new app is a great addition and I know it is going to help me with my motivation and training regime to maintain my fitness.
